**Assembly Line Operator** is an electronics manufacturing role responsible for assembling different electronic and electromechanical modules to complete IT hardware products. The role involves receiving and identifying components, modules, PCBs, connectors, wires, cables and accessories according to the Bill of Materials (BOM), arranging them into kits, and assembling them accurately according to standard operating procedures, assembly instructions and product requirements. Operators may work on different models and products while ensuring proper handling of components, correct placement, accurate documentation and adherence to production targets and quality standards.
The role requires practical knowledge of basic electronics, IT hardware components and assembly processes, along with the ability to use precision tools such as electronic screwdrivers and pliers. Assembly Line Operators are also trained in safe handling practices, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) precautions, inventory and process documentation, and the use of internal ERP systems for tracking work. Good coordination, attention to detail, problem-solving ability and safe working practices are essential for maintaining productivity, minimizing assembly errors and ensuring that completed equipment meets the required quality standards.
